Summertime in Oklahoma has been Fun in the Sun with record heat and over 100 degree weather, but that did not stop me snapping pictures and having fun in capturing the story. Check out the memories. . . .

Summertime – Children, Families, Weddings OH MY
Iona “Bernie” Carter Wilson is 90 years young!
When I got a call from Bernie’s daughter, Cheryl, I knew I just had to be a part of this wonderful surprise 90th birthday party, I love being around and celebrating such fun and happy times with families that honor their parents. I lost my parents when they were in their 50’s and seeing such vibrant, happy and amazing older people just makes me smile. So just see the happiness this family has seeing their mom get “surprised”. I told Bernie when she celebrates her 100th birthday she needs to go to Maui and I told her I would be there to capture the day!
Capturing memories. . .not just poses!
Kathryn and Robert = Childhood Sweethearts
This was a great day for a wedding and an awesome event to photograph, I have known these two kids almost all their life and Robert spent so many days at my house growing up and I was overwhelmed with emotion of love, happiness and just good hearted warmth to get to capture their love and I know they will be happy for a lifetime. Being a photographer brings so much joy and capturing these moments make what I do so so so much FUN!

Felicia + Levi = Weber Wedding
It was a great night in Kingfisher with Felicia and Levi getting married and also seeing quite a few of my past clients, Felicia sister, Bev was one of my first year weddings and it is always great to see how special these clients are in referring me and letting me do what I love to do! You guys ROCK, the singer and songwriter, Dylan Hammett with Hadashi Records was amazing, check them out at www.hadashirecords.com The Oklahoma Photobook was a hit and the night was fun and full of memories for a lifetime.

Month at a glance~ May and June
Busy month of weddings, graduations and babies being born. Just a few pics to enjoy and give a shout out to all my clients who have trusted me to capture their life in pictures. Capturing memories . . .not just poses!
K + J = Amazing Engagement Session
Kathryn and Josh’s engagement pictures were done in Bricktown, here at the waterfall Josh got the courage to ask Kathryn to marry him and she of course said “YES” and the big event will happen in September! Congrats it was FUN

Excellence in Home Education Graduation
Amazing graduation, Excellence in Home Education conducted their first graduation on May 14th, 2010 with 14 graduates and had a fantastic attendance, over 400 guests enjoyed all the festivities and heard Dr. Perry Santos delivered the commencement speech. What a blessing to see such amazing parents home school their children and take the opportunity to meet once a week and get wonderful instruction from very talented teachers to just complete the home school experience. Excel is a service organization- not a school-that coordinates facilities, teachers, students and parents for the purpose of offering an enhancement to, not a replacement of, home education for students in junior and high school years. Classes offered on the high school level are college preparatory, taught by experienced teachers.
Engagement-Will Rogers Park {Becca + Geoff}
Oklahoma has a saying. . wait a few minutes and the weather will change. Today was typical Oklahoma weather, rain came pouring down this morning and thought we were not going to be able to get the engagement pictures done, but after a few hours it was on and Becca and Geoff met me and we had a great time. Becca’s laugh is so contagious and the pictures show just how much love they have and their wedding is coming in a week in Guthrie. We waited on engagement pictures til Becca could get her braces off, so look at that SMILE!

Mr. Cooper {cutest little boy}
What a great morning at Will Rogers Park with Cooper, his mom and best friend Nina. Cooper’s daddy is one of my son’s best friends and this was my first introduction to mr coop! What a sweetheart, his personality was so priceless. Check out his expressions when he is on a mission to crawl! Thank you Beth and Nina for being such awesome friends and being so supportive of my work as a photographer and being such great friends to my son and daughter in law, Jeremy and Tori.
